First: standalone IC2 Classic or the KRAYMO server?
These are two different installation paths. To play in your own Minecraft world, you install a Forge profile and compatible mod files. To join KRAYMO Industrial, use the project's Windows launcher and the client version it publishes. Replacing files in a server-specific modpack with arbitrary downloads can break compatibility.
Create a KRAYMO account, download the official launcher, select Industrial and let the client use the published modpack. Microsoft sign-in is not needed for the KRAYMO account.
Get the launcher →Use Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.2, Forge and the mod's official distribution page. You are responsible for matching any required dependencies.
View official IC2 Classic files ↗1. Match Minecraft, Forge and Java
IC2 Classic has a Forge build for Minecraft 1.19.2. The KRAYMO Industrial project uses Minecraft 1.19.2 and Forge 43.5.2; standalone players should follow the supported loader version on the specific mod file they choose. Minecraft 1.19.2 normally runs on Java 17. A Forge mod will not work in a Fabric-only installation.
In the Minecraft launcher, create a dedicated installation or game directory for this modpack. That keeps old or incompatible files from other Minecraft versions out of your mods folder.
2. Download IC2 Classic from its official publisher
Use the IC2 Classic project on CurseForge, filter for Minecraft 1.19.2 and Forge, and check the file's Relations and release information. As checked on 19 October 2026, its publicly listed 1.19.2 release is IC2Classic-1.19.2-2.1.3.4, dated 31 July 2026. That is the public mod release, not a claim about which exact build KRAYMO's current server uses.
Avoid misleading third-party installers or unofficial repackaged mod files. Keep the original .jar and don't rename ZIP files to look like mods.
3. Check the required dependencies
The official CurseForge relations page lists dependencies including Carbon Config, Curios API and The One Probe. Requirements can change by mod version: always read the dependency list of the specific file you install rather than assuming that an older tutorial or a random download has a complete list.
Each dependency must also support Minecraft 1.19.2 and Forge. If Forge reports a missing or incompatible dependency, copy its precise mod ID and expected version from the log before downloading anything else.
4. Install the standalone Forge modpack
- Install and start Minecraft Java Edition 1.19.2 at least once.
- Set up a compatible Forge profile for 1.19.2 and verify it launches cleanly.
- Open the game directory used by that profile, then locate or create the
modsfolder. - Place the downloaded IC2 Classic
.jarand its correctly versioned required dependencies into that folder. - Remove conflicting versions of the same mod instead of keeping duplicates.
- Launch the Forge profile; use the Mods screen or launch log to verify that IC2 Classic loaded.
These steps apply to a standalone installation. For multiplayer, the server may require a different locked set of mod versions. Use its official client instead of assembling your own mixture.
5. Fix common IC2 Classic installation errors
| What you see | What to check first |
|---|---|
| Forge cannot find IC2 Classic | Correct game directory, .jar file, Minecraft 1.19.2 and the Forge—not Fabric—profile |
| Missing Carbon Config, Curios or another mod | Read the missing mod ID/version in the Forge log and use that file's official dependency list |
| Game crashes after adding a mod | Check Java 17, duplicates, wrong Minecraft versions and the first relevant error in the crash report |
| Single-player works, server rejects connection | Check the server's supported modpack and release manifest; do not substitute newer jars without confirmation |
| Machines do not receive EU | Check the energy source, cable connections, storage direction, power tier and in-game recipes |
A crash log is more useful than an error screenshot alone. When contacting KRAYMO support, remove passwords and authentication tokens from logs first.
6. How to play Industrial on KRAYMO
Register → verify your email → download the official Windows launcher → select Industrial. The launcher is intended to install the project's compatible client rather than forcing players to gather every Forge mod by hand. Because KRAYMO is in alpha, check the server status and current launcher release before troubleshooting connectivity.

Installation FAQ
Does IC2 Classic work with Fabric on 1.19.2?
Use the official Forge build for the supported Minecraft version. A Fabric-only profile cannot load a Forge-only mod jar.
Should I install the newest IC2 Classic jar over my KRAYMO client?
No. A public CurseForge release number and KRAYMO's verified server/client release can differ. Let the official launcher manage the project's matching set.
Why does Minecraft launch without the mod?
Check that you selected the Forge profile and placed the files inside that profile's actual game directory, not a different Minecraft installation.
