The Macerator processes supported ores into dust ready for smelting.

An EU-powered machine for transforming recipe-supported ores and items into intermediary products, commonly dust. Not every item from every mod has a Macerator recipe.
What it does and how it works
The official 1.19 datapack reference specifically lists Macerator recipes as modifiable inputs and outputs. A recipe, yield or supported ore seen in a 1.12 guide may not exist on KRAYMO.
Materials and prerequisites
Macerator using the installed recipe, a compatible EU source, a supported test ore, free output inventory and an optional Electric Furnace.
These are prerequisite categories, not a guaranteed crafting grid. Confirm exact item counts in the installed 1.19 recipe viewer.
Step-by-step setup
- Search the current Wiki Book or in-game recipe viewer for a Macerator input.
- Give the machine EU using your verified starter circuit.
- Insert one input and leave output slots clear; collect and record the result.
- Test the result in a downstream Furnace only if a valid recipe exists.
Example setup or workflow
Conceptual flow, not a real-game screenshot or an assertion about exact block faces.
Before sending a whole stack of copper ore into automation, test one unit. Compare the actual result with the exact item required by your next craft. If it differs from an old video, check installed datapacks rather than assuming a bug.
Common problems and troubleshooting
| Symptom | Test or remedy |
|---|---|
| No progress | Is there EU? Is the exact ore supported? |
| Powered but blocked | Empty the output and test a single input. |
| Different dust count from a guide | Use current game recipes, not Experimental/older IC2 tables. |

| Crafting-grid ingredients and item counts | Use the installed recipe viewer; old 1.12 tables are not presumed accurate. |
Edition-specific note: No universal ore doubling or fixed EU per operation is claimed. Verify each material in the live recipe viewer.
